Meet the 2010 Ballgirls…Part 1
Get to know your 2010 Phillies Ballgirls!
Since we will get to meet so many Phillies fans during games and appearances, we thought we’d give you all a head start at getting to know us! There are 11 new girls and 6 returning veterans for the 2010 season. We asked each ballgirl basic background questions and 5 “icebreaker” questions. This week we will hear from 2 veterans, McKenzie and Amanda and 3 rookies, Becca, Kami and Jess!

Three things you’d take on a desert island: A radio (to listen to Phillies games), food, water

Three things you’d take on a desert island: 1) A beach chair (to sit in for a little and enjoy the view) ; 2) A plane (to leave after a few hours) ; 3) A capable pilot (to fly me out of there!), because I wouldn’t last more than 4 hours on a desert island.
Position you play in softball: SS / 3B
Favorite Phillies moment: “One strike away, nothing-and-two the count to Hinske. Fans on their feet, Brad Lidge stretches . . . the 0-2 pitch . . . swing and a miss! Struck him out! . . . The Philadelphia Phillies are 2008 World Champions of Baseball!” – Harry Kalas’s final call in the 2008 World Series.
Favorite Holiday: Halloween. Nothing beats free candy.
Favorite food to eat at Citizen’s Bank Park: It’s a toss-up between dollar dogs with spicy mustard and soft serve ice cream that comes in the little helmets (with sprinkles, of course).
Three things you’d take on a desert island: My iPod with all of my favorite music, a really long novel, and a huge bag of peanut butter M&Ms!!
Position you play in softball: Growing up I always played shortstop, but last year I did a lot of slow pitch for the ballgirls team!
Favorite Phillies moment: My favorite Phillies moment would have to be my first time at home plate for the national anthem.
Favorite Holiday: Christmas! My birthday is right before so it always ends up being a very fun week
Favorite food to eat at Citizen’s Bank Park: I can never pass up the dollar dogs.. With ketchup and onions of course!
