South Jersey Magazine Photoshoot

Ever wonder what it would be like to spend the day getting your hair and makeup done by some of the best local hair and makeup artists? How about getting the chance to find out what the up and coming fashion line is going to be for the spring? South Jersey Magazine asked some of the Ballgirls to model the latest spring line at Citizen’s Bank Park for their “Girls of Spring” feature in the March Edition. We had a blast taking photos and capturing all the behind scenes moments while got to try on a ton of different clothes and shoes! Special thanks to Martino Cartier Salon in Cherry Hill and Sewell, our stylist Jaclyn Fisher and out fabulous photographer Dominic Episcopo!  Check out some of our pictures from the day and what the girls thought about the shoot!

The photoshoot was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. I loved getting professional hair and makeup done and trying on all of the clothes! It was an absolute treat to have an opportunity to wear designer clothes and shoes! I had so much fun playing dress up with the other girls and it was a great chance to get to know each other and bond. It was very exciting getting to be a model for a day but after ten hours of pictures I was exhausted! I definitely have to hand it to the people who do that every day!

I was so excited going into this photo shoot. I had great time trying on the clothes and shoes. My favorite part of the photo shoot was the group shots. I had a blast and would do it again! Also, a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who took part in this shoot!

Doing the photo shoot for South Jersey Magazine was definitely one of the most fun things I have ever gotten to do. We were at CBP for about 10 hours, so it was a long day, but definitely worth it. I was exhausted, who knew taking pictures could be so tiring! One of my favorite parts of the day was getting to try on all the clothes and shoes. The clothes were so different then what I would normally wear, but it was fun getting to see how this stuff looked on all of us. We got to wear all sorts of expensive shoes that I would never normally wear…  1. Because there were out of my price range and 2. I’m 5’10 already, so wearing 6 inch heels isn’t a normal footwear choice, but that’s what made it so fun. The whole day was just a lot of fun and getting to experience it with 3 of the other ballgirls made it so much better. I can’t wait to actually be flipping through the magazine and see the pictures!

A little break before our group shot!

This event was a TON of fun and I really have to give it up to the models that do this kind of thing day in and day out.  It is all very glamorous but at the same time, it is HARD work and exhausting! We were at CBP all day and trying on all different types of outfits and shoes.  Our stylist made sure we were accessorized and photo ready before our individual shoots.  Sam, Rachael, Leigh Ann and I each had out own shoots and then we had 2 group shoots together which were fun because we got to interact with each other.  Our one group shot was pretty tough because I had to keep my leg bent for the longest time and I was honestly sore the next day! Besides the Jimmy Choos and other great shoes, which are my weakness, I was so in love with the one ring in our group shot!  Now, if I can only find someone to do my hair and makeup every day… I will be set! ;o)

Check out some of our behind the scene shots!

Thanks to all the girls for making such lovely models and to Michele for all her help organizing this with the magazine. It was certainly a long day, but everything turned out amazing and the response has been terrific.
